#MySundayPhoto

Our Sunday has been a fantastic day for mum and children bonding time.

We went to the movies this morning to see Hotel Transylvania 2  and myself and the kids thought it was fab…

Oscar was ready and waiting patiently-surprisingly lol

Caitlyn looks moody, probably cos mum has the camera in her face again, but she was so excited to see #2.

After the trip to the cinema, we headed over to SnApPyS soft play, sadly I didn’t get any pictures there.

How was your Sunday?

Normally hubby has most Sunday’s off, but this was his day to be in work.

Hope you all had a great day!

Thanks for reading xo

Motherhood is TOUGH #QuoteLinky

Motherhood is one tough bugger!!!!

Feel like I’m struggling with being a ‘Mummy’ at the moment.

Not sure if it’s just hormones, the age of the kids, or am I being seriously unreasonable, but I’m struggling with motherhood and my stress levels are taking over.

I of course put my children’s health and happiness first, before mine.

They are my rocks and my best friends, but most importantly I am trying my hardest to be their teacher and their leader. I really try hard to do the right thing and show them the right ways to deal with situations and cope well under pressure but I don’t think I am coping well under pressure at all (especially when I’m hormonal) are there other mums out there who shout and scream and feel they can’t cope well when hormonal?

I feel I am not doing anything right at the moment. I’m not coping well with 7 year old attitude 😞 deep down I know he isn’t really being naughty but I have standards that might be a little too demanding-‘can a 7 year old really do what he is told first time round with no strops’ NO.

I’m constantly shouting, moaning and cross….is it me and why am I like this? Venting with friends is great and having a supportive hubby is amazing but I don’t want our days filled with a moody mum. Are there any GOOD techniques to stop me from being a horrid shouting mummy?! HELP PLEASE…tips and advice welcome 👍🏼

Mornings with Madam

Mornings with madam are becoming much more fun and girlie as my princess gets older.

We love to spend our mornings together either making plans with friends or enjoying each others company, playing, drawing, cleaning (my little helper) and sharing each others snacks (little food monster)

I’d say the last week my little girl is growing more and more attached to her babies, dolls and teddies. It’s either sleep time with every duvet and blanket in the house or they are set up in the living room to watch their favourite film\show. She is obsessed with playing mummy and telling them what to do. The moody and very bossy role-playing must be a reflection of what I’m like…oh dear, my mother tells me I’m bossy but I don’t believe it one bit, LOL!!

I certainly miss spending time with my boy, but I’m very happy I am able to put CJ into nursery one afternoon a week so that I get special time with OB and do the things we love together, just mummy and son.

What fun things do you do with your children? Do you have to split your time with each child, so you get a chance to see them as little people? Do you feel bad and wonder if your leaving one out?

Parenting is tough, but we do the best we can!
